In response to a comment made by a reader, I said that I would post an update on where I had ended up after this time.
While some may believe that faith is something that you arrive at, I have found that faith is something that continually grows and changes, adapts and renews. Just like in many other facets of life, growth rarely comes with out the sometimes painful shedding of a layer.
And so, lately, having shed another layer, one that at times was ill-defined and hard to explain, I remain, as always a beloved daughter of God. It is out of that understanding, one that is rooted in the belief that nothing I can or can not do, think or will not think, believe or will not believe will ever push me out of the span of God's love, that I own my struggles, doubts and fears, and emerge ever strengthened in the knowledge that I am a disciple of Christ, on an ongoing journey.
